The Fenglobal Story

Family by name,
family by nature

Our name comes from a word our family created because at its core, Fenglobal is about family. It’s about us working with you, your family and your business to create joint success. The global in our name is a nod to the bigger picture that we consider in all our decisions and actions.

We started Fenglobal to provide a better solution for owners looking to retire and sell the business they had dedicated so much time to, so we strive to be trusted buyers with a simple, honest and friendly process.  Just like you, we serve and care for your teams, your customers and the communities you operate in to help your business thrive.

We’ve been in your shoes, and we know just how much grit and determination goes into establishing and sustaining a successful business. That’s exactly why we work with you to protect your legacy, build your business sustainably for the future, and offer you the peace of mind you deserve.

DAVID FREELAND

David currently serves as Founder and Managing Director of Fenglobal. He has had a lifelong fascination with the mechanics of business. He started as an electrician, where his passion lay not so much on the tools but on how the business actually worked.

in 2010 he channelled this passion into acquiring SMS Central, a technology business that he ran as CEO growing it, before joining up with MessageMedia one of the worlds largest messaging providers.

Owning and operating businesses is in David’s DNA, so he established Fenglobal with one clear mission: to create a home for great Australian businesses and their teams.

With his experience in running and building businesses across various industries, David knows the grit it takes to achieve strategic and sustainable results with a customer-focussed lens. He’s been in your shoes. And he walks the talk.

When David isn’t speaking to business owners and assisting in his current businesses, he is spending time with his son and family.
